Something of a gypsy (actually nothing quite so romantic!), I was born in South Carolina and have lived in England, Canada, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Atlanta and Houston.  I’ve seen a lot of this country from the windshield of a truck pulling a horse trailer, having bred, trained and showed Andalusian horses for many years.

I’ve won several writing awards, including the Georgia Romance Writers Magnolia Award.  I’m the mother of two wonderful sons, a retired legal assistant, and member of the Houston Symphony League.  Simon is a graphic artist.  My oldest son Ian is in England and has two gorgeous children.

I also write for Digital Impact Agency, an advertising agency in Houston, and love my new “job”.

I enjoy events with my car club. Among my favorite things are my snazzy black convertible and  my parlor grand piano which has a player system installed.  I love to dress up and host formal dinner parties.  I don’t even object to hand washing the crystal and china the next day.
